First of all, I dont know if Im gonna be surprised because Hellgate London copies are now being sold in some stores in the Philippines or if im gonna be surprised that store owners, instead of selling pirated copies of games before they get released, are now selling ORIGINAL copies for a change. Im supposed to be happy for this because I live in the Philippines but some of you might bash me for it, so i’d rather not express my excitement here. Hellgateguru reports that some Hellgate London copies has already been sold here in the Philippines, at first i thought they were referring to the pirated copies of Hellgate London, since pirated copies of games seems to get shipped here by the Mal******* before the game even gets released (damn those row boats sure are fast) but lo and behold…

It seems that a confused store owned didn’t know that they weren’t supposed to sell this yet. Either that or the store owner himself decided to make a name of himself by opening a box and showing it off to Hellgate forum communities.
“This is not supposed to happen. We are currently investigating the issue.”

“Before you all panic too, the game can’t be played online until the servers are up, but at least it gives us a nice look at the Comic book which is different from the Graphic Novel cover that comic stores sell.”

The dude that showed off his authentic Hellgate London copy seems to have the real effing deal here. Im about to finish my coffee as I am about to close this blog post and hopefully the PC-Game stores in Megamall would still be open by the time i get there.

T_T mall is closed when i got there
is it available here n philippines? i wanna play it..
you can try to get Hellgate SEA… but i dont think it’s a good idea to get anywhere near HGL. Flagship Studios is dead(dying) so there’s no point getting a game that has (currently) no post-development support
