It’s Diablo 3… Im willing to bet my marbles. Unless blizzard employees got bored and decided to screw everyone with clues leading to the big announcement they promised on the last day of the WWI2008 as DIABLO 3. And when i say EVERYTHING pointing to Diablo 3 then i mean everything.And a lot if not all of those pointed out in this article of sc2pod.

Summary :

• The last day of the World Wide Invitational 2008 as taking place on Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction’s Birthday (The day these games got released)
• The runes in the splash screen matching the Shae and Hel runes. These splash screen appears in all major Blizzard websites.
• Blizzard not saying that it’s not Diablo 3 (they have this habit of denying rumors on the spot even before it gets this hyped)
• Secret images in the http://us.media.blizzard.com/232309/_images/ folder popping up, each number corresponding to a letter in Diablo (as of this posting 4 for D and 15 for O has been released) and appears like parts of a rectangular jigzaw puzzle of some sort.
• The number of days remaining till the last day of WWI matches the number of remaining letter-codes to be revealed which will exactly form the word Diablo 3
• The name of the folder where the secret images are stored is the secret ihttp://us.media.blizzard.com/232309/_images/15.jpg : 232309 = 23/23/09 = WWI.
• The last time Blizzard made a splash screen teaser was when Starcraft 2 got announced in Blizzcon 2007. So a splash screen with no title on it definitely IS an unannounced game. They wouldn’t do this for WoTLK since it got announced already.

Blizzard just got themselves a new and mysterious splash page. It doesnt tell us what from what game it is or whatever. The last time Blizzard did this was when they announced Starcraft 2 and the splash page back then was “Hell, It’s about time”-which refers to the long wait for the official announcement for starcraft 2 in Blizzcon 2007.  Now Blizzard World Wide Invitation 2008 is around the corner where Blizzard promised to make a shocking announcement on the event’s last day which is coincidentally(?) the day when Diablo 2 and Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction got announced. Well for Diablo 3 fans, if it’s not Diablo 3 they’re announcing on June 29, 2008 theres still Blizzcon 2008 on October
