Also, I'm not advocating for any game. I'm just mentioning precisely how much I enjoyed each one. If I could still play video games, based on company reputation, I would probably turn to Aion or wait for Guild Wars 2.

Joe, your opinion means nothing in the face of an extremely successful game. You know what Guild Wars is capable of because of that 'fairness' that you just mentioned? The game isn't based on broken items or skills, you can change the attributes of your character to meet each challenge (making adaptation a fun part of the game), and the playability is met by the immense world and amount of challenges available. Replayability?--so your definition of replayability is being forced to continually make new characters of the same class from scratch?--hahahha. Well, guess what, Guild Wars' amazing balance gives the ArenaNet the ability to sanction official tournaments with real cash prizes!

Narziss, Guild Wars is a crappy boring game primarily because of the freedom to respec. I have no interest in playing a game that allows people who do not think ahead to correct their errors. How else are people who do think ahead to be rewarded? It ruins replayabiliy. If you make a mistake, you need to create a new character or live with it. The other reason why GW sucked was because it had weak items. Diablo has never had this problem.

Wow, not allowing complete liberties on character skill point allottment is the biggest mistake they made in WoW and Diablo 2. They should take some advice from Guild Wars, and they should realize that Diablo 2 is an old, easy, short game, where making a new character wasn't a big deal. Not being able to respec wasn't a big deal, and not being able to respec will appeal more to rare hardcore players, rather than to both competitive and casual players. I want full liberties on respecing: the ability to change my attribute points however I see fit as long as I am in a safe town. Some builds are better early on, some builds are better late in the game. LEARN something from Guild Wars BLIZZARD! Or else Guild Wars 2 will come and own Diablo 3, Age of Conan, Wrath of the Lich King, and Warhammer Online, all in one swing.
