I was playing TF2 last night, mostly as a spy. And i noticed that no matter how subtle i approach the enemy people around or even my prey would notice my odd behavior then it wont take a couple of milliseconds for them to fire a “loyalty shot” at me and poof - cover’s blown. I resorted to a lot of methods that a Team Fortress 2 newbie-spy would undertake like running backwards towards the enemy, stealthing and trying to stab from behind and stealth`ing towards the enemy base and making it look like as if i just spawned from their base and of course disguising as a double-agent spy. But none of them worked all the time and especially hard to pull off in small maps so i googled for some Team Fortress 2 spy techniques and these are the videos that i found (lucky for me they were uploaded just a couple of hours ago). The first Team Fortress 2 Spy tutorial video shows a couple of techniques that every spy should master. If you’ve been playing Spy on Team Fortress 2 for a couple of days already, you may notice that you’ve tried all of these techniques probably by instinct. The second Team Fortress 2 Spy Tutorial Video demonstrates how you play a spy in psycho mode and by that i meant psychological mode. Fooling you’re enemies into thinking that you are running away and a couple of seconds later they drop down to a clean backstab, Making use of distractions and knowing when to move out to kill and when not to. This video also demonstrates what to do AFTER YOU SNAKE A KILL, which is important to us spies if we want to get that killing streak going because our prey’s friends are probably not happy for what we just did… or maybe they just care about getting a free kill.

The Third Team Fortress 2 Spy Tutorial video demonstrates how you can win a capture game with a spy A.K.A. solocapping with a spy. Solo-caps don’t work 100% of the time but it’s always helpful to know the right way of doing things. Having trouble with the enemy chasing you up the stairs? See how you can get a clean backstab to get you out of that situation with a +1 kill score.
