Warhammer’s about to get their own public test servers/realms, and they’ve aptly called them PTS. As of this posting it’s not up yet but James Nichols of the Warhammer Herald gave us a preview of what is to be tested on the Warhammer PTS. The loooong patch notes from the upcoming 1.0.5 update for Warhammer Online. You guys probably know the drill (esp. if you are from WoW), major patches gets tested in the 1.0.5, hopefully they’ll listen to the player feedback regarding the balancing efforts that the patch should bring to the game – aside from testing if the Warhammer Online 1.0.5 patch has any detrimental or postive effect to the servers.

When the PTS eventually comes online, The patcher for Warhammer Online clients will download the PTS downloader executable, and from there players can download the 1.0.5 patch. Options to copy live characters onto the test servers should be appearing soon in the Warhammer Online’s account page.
