Starcraft and Brood War Patch Information
Feature Changes

- In-game chat is now saved in replays. Note: whispers are not saved.
- Hitting the Escape key while in the chat room will clear your typed text.
- “/reply” (or just “/r”) will send a whisper to person who most recently whispered you.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed localization issues with “from” and “to” in whispers.
- Starcraft now only uses as much CPU as it needs to run smoothly.

Exploits

- Fixed an exploit which allowed Zerg players to gain minerals through mutations.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed Zerg players to recycle an upgrading building.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed Zerg players to extend their creep with a drone.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed Zerg players to move Drones over impassable terrain.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed Terran players to drop a nuke anywhere on the map.
- Fixed an exploit which allowed players to pause the game while in the pre-game lobby.

Blizzard patched Starcraft / Starcraft broodwar today. The links for the direct-download / standalone Starcraft Broodwar 1.16.0 patch will be posted once they have been made available, but for now, those who can update Starcraft via Battle.net may do so. Update – Standalone patcher for Starcraft Broodwar 1.16.0 is up.

   well after the patch my sc definetly not runs smoothly! its not playable.. like playing with 10hz on ur screen or something

   hi lipton how’s starfeeder goin? you gonna organize any tourneys soon? btw kespa rejected this patch because of the UDP glitches since most, if not all, of kespa games are played on LAN

   Hey I was playing 2 starcraft 3v3 with protoss today.. After killing 1, and when was about to kill the others the games stopped, couldn’t do anything: mouse stopped, keyboard did nothing (WIN, alt+tab, esc, alt+f4, etc).. Finally I had to restart pc.
   Anybody is in this trouble too ? Maybe a new exploit for noobs on this new patch ? Or just my computer hating the smooth thing… :S

    3-end if you whant to play broood war … no cd key problem just go to http://www.robattle.net has a patch there that works!!! whit no CD key im using it ! The problem is that the server is romanian but many europens come there soooooo if you lost your cd key come there!!! diablo 2 & warcraft III + [EXP] are working there! come come freee cokyes
