i did everything that you guys suggested about ‘could not find Xaudio2″ error and still keeps showing. i did the extracting with scarface, renaming and everything else. Any other suggestions? please, help me!

hey guys.. my prototype runs normally BUT i get these random freeze/lags once every 5 – 10 mins… any1 know the solution to this?..

MY System properties..
and its new re-format

Inter(R)CORE(TM)Duo CPU
E7300 @ 2.66HZ
RAM 1G 32 bits
Ge-force 8500gt

My problem is its always freeze randomly… and my system hang too i already play it VSYNC = off in low revolution and low setting but it keeps freezing all the time….i have 2 a friends playings Prototype the game are not freezing but my PC is much better to than they have PLZ HELP…
i don’t have any HID to disable…

One more thing that I forgot to mention is that on the Men like gods stage my game crashed just when Alex is among the other soldiers and starts coughing and leaves the room, skip that scene with the spacebar in case that scene would give you a problem again.

Just my 2 cents on the prototypeenginef.dll problem. When I reached the Men like gods stage I started experiencing crashes every time I tried to start any saved game, pointing to that dll file and I tried all posted remedies with none helping at all. I even reinstalled the game with no luck but made sure I backed up my saved games. I noticed that I was able to start a new game without crashes. So it occurred to to me to continue with a new game but then saved it at any given point and then going back to the menu screen to choose my latest previous saved game and voila! it worked without giving me that annoying crash now I’ve advanced further with the game with no issues. Hope it helps for similar situations. Good luck.

When i start prototype it will be fine… but after loading it will stuck when a pop up or a video section or a hint shows up. also after loading a save game it will also stuck when i press the menu in the middle of the game… i’m using windows 7 so i need help

Mine is windows XP SP3
Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU
E5200 @ 2.50GHz
2.52 GHz, 1GB of RAM.
I have Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver.
can i run this game having this?
