WORLD EDITOR CHANGES (PC)

- Added new JASS hash table functions to replace the lost functionality from
fixing unsafe type casting.
- Hash Table – Save Item Handle
- Hash Table – Save Unit Handle
- …
- Hash Table – Load Item Handle
- Hash Table – Load Unit Handle
- …
- Hash Table – Get Handle ID

FIXES

- Fixed an exploit related to unsafe type casting that allowed users to
execute arbitrary code in maps.
- Fixed the JASS unsafe type casting exploit (“return bug”).
- Fixed several World Editor crashes.

ADDITIONAL
• “Shadowing” global variables with local variables no longer is possible.
• Fixed a type conversion dealing with operators (i.e. adding a handle with an integer)
• Added the ability to store hashtable handles in a hashtable
• Added getSpellTargetX and getSpellTargetY natives
• Added a new base handle type “Agent” of which many types now extend from.
• Added a SaveAgentHandle native which can be used for saving most handle types
• Added a JASS optimization dealing with global variable change events.
• Increased max map file size from 4MB to 8MB.

Warcraft 3 1.24 DoTA Update
For those playing DoTA on Battle.net, currently the latest version that is working correctly online is 6.59d. We are actively working with Icefrog to get the later versions to be compatible with the new map.

   weird that this patch broke all dota maps for me… will icefrog be the one to adapt or did those maps break because of scripting bugs?

   Ok no dota but what about Risk Devo? no versions work at all
   i try and host but it says no game found and now i have to deal with these bots that just spam and spam until they lag out…whats going on????

   i cant play on any map in whole War III frozen throne…..
   I try to Host a map i go Create then pick map and create again …. and then enteres and exits imidatly…like been kicked but im the host…. and when try to join someone it kicks me out of whole game and some error …. pls help

    the maps that dont work are hack versons of the game. all hack verson use a jass part that they patched up so u cant hack a map anymore so devo and other maps wont work becuse they where hack verson to start with………. it use be very easy hack anymap after useing three programs t do so but new update killed that and many maps. to bad there so many hack verson out there but where better then the origenel

    bear with the new version of the game, but also, some legit maps that use custom scripts for some custom triggers to work will eventually keep up using the new jas functions.
