I have a problem to guys.when i have installed the game for the first time everything worked fine.The 2nd day when i wanted to start the game nothing happened.If i reinstall the game nothing happens at all, it does not starts not even for the 1st time.Can someone help me to solve this problem?

Problem #2: Torchlight doesnt let me set my resolution to the highest possible with my system/monitor
Solution : Upgrade your graphics card. WRONG!!!!!!
Real Solution: Torchlight will not run in a higher resolution than the desktop, increase desktop resolution to enable higher res in game.

Problem #4 : Torchlight AA (Antialiasing) does not work / wont enable.
Solution: same as above, running same resolution as desktop works.

Addendum to my comment about mouse and Torchlight. I just tried to run the “safe mode” version and it crashed.

Hi, I’m trying to run Torchlight on a Dell Vostro 1000 laptop with Dell Touchpad, it uses Synaptic drivers according to the device listing. I can’t get the mouse to work in Torchlight, I think maybe I would need DOS support since it seems to be running in a DOS forced mode. (Full screen) How would I run it in a window, which might possibly sidestep this issue so I can try out the game finally?

I just purchased the game, and accidently fully deleted the files from my computer and thought i could just straight reinstall it to my computer but i get an error every time i try to reinstall it saying its still on my computer’s C: but i went to unistall/remove programs and it isn’t listed in my computers program files anywhere, any solutions? (besides a system restore)

I purchased my copy from the local Gamestop. I downloaded the 1.15 update, applied it, now whatever way i try to launch the game, steam opens up at the “install Torchlight demo” window…..WT*!?!?…..this all started when my original installation got corrupted. I removed the game via, “programs & features” I have windows 7, i re-installed the game, will work great on version 1.13, i reinstall the 1.15 patch and i get the problem stated above. I really enjoy this game, wont someone help me please?

this is my problem:

Problem #1 : Torchlight error message “The application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.”

but can you please tell me howcan I fix it?
