Blizzcon 2008 WoW Champion Luis ‘Paperkat’ Di Centa, participated in Starcraft 2′s closed beta, has been contacted by Blizzard today via email informing him that the closed beta has started.

“We’re excited to have reached the beta-testing stage for the second Starcraft game, and we’d be grateful to have your assistance in finalizing the content. There are a lot of new things to test, the single-player campaign and a brand new multiplayer experience, and we look forward to receiving any feedback you can offer.

Those who opted in for Starcraft 2 beta and those who have SC2 beta keys, start checking your emails like crazy. And thank you Blizzard for this great Christmas present!
