Problem #1 : Physx is disabled in Batman Arkham Asylum (How to Enable Batman Arkham Asylum Physx)
Solution : (posted on filenetworks)
If the option to turn on PhysX is missing from the in game menu, try the following.
1. Browse to directory C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\BmGame\Config
2. Open UserEngine.ini file with a text editor such as Notepad.
3. Change the line PhysXLevel=0 so that it reads PhysXLevel=1
4. Save and close the file. Run the game
Problem #2 : Enabling Physx causes Batman Arkham Asylum to crash
Solution :
A. ) Make sure that you have a card capable of rendering Physx effect or a dedicated Physx card when you enable Physx. If it is enabled and you have the Physx option enabled, disable it by reversing the method posted in Problem #1
B. ) If you have a Physx capable card, make sure you update your video card drivers.
Issue and solution #3 : (posted on filenetworks)
well another problem. (i think) when you get to the point at arkham north at the point where you need to batclaw the upper access point and enter the mansion, there is no mark for the grapple. i found that the mark is misplaced. it’s marked towards the entrance to the island, and when you press it, it just grapple you all the way to the other side and thru the the walls and than you just falls off the map and come back at the other side of the island. and it’s always like this. either it’s me (i doubt it) or it’s another hidden protection trigger.”
Solution
Problem #4 : Batman Arkham Asylum error “Microsoft .Net Framework
Unhandled exception occured in your application.
Value was either too large or too small for an Int32.”
Solution :
A.) Update your .Net framework. Go to system update then tick the .net framework related releases then update.
B. ) For Windows 7 users or those users who can’t update via Window’s built-in system update, you might want to try http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=333325FD-AE52-4E35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en
