SCPH-90000, the new PS2 model will be retailing for $140. The SCPH-90000 will be of the same size as it’s predecessor (the slimmer PS2) but would weigh more because the power supply would be built into the system which simply means, goodbye bulky power chord. This new model will be available in 3 colors – silver, white and of course the classic black. The new model is officially announced in Japan and EU but Sony is yet to confirm if the new PS2 model will be released in North America anytime soon.

Aside from the new PS2 model, Sony announced a new “Deep Red” hue for the Sony PSP that will be released in Japan on December 13, 2007 for $200 and $260 packages, Just in time for Christmas season. This new PSP is aptly called… well,”Deep Red PSP”
